From 10th to 14th of June 50 European musicians are selected to get together in Lodz for a week of masterclasses, meetings and concerts.
Not only Intl Jazz Platform offers musicians the opportunity to learn from the artistic thoughts and visions from some of the most renowned musicians in improvised music, but also it is a special occasion for them to make some creative encounters. For a few days artists are invited to meet their European peers and get to know more about the reality of their practices and the scenes. For this Footprints special edition they will be particularly encouraged to consider the social, economical and ecological impacts dimensions of their acticity. Out of the 50 musicians, 6 of them will be selected to organize a tour in 2022 with the support from Footprints partners.
